PHRF Sailing Come join us this summer for some fun sailboat races. Stage Harbor has a lot of sail boats and a history of having very active sailing community. In recent years that has declined. We have come up with a short series of informal races, that will start and finish at either the SH Bell Bouy or one of the bouys off of Harwich Port depending on the wind, and then go around local government marks. similar to the PHRF program that Harwich runs on Wednesday nights. Hopeful the apre sail social element will be as much fun as the races. We believe the awards will be more on the fun side as well. Suggestions are welcome for dates and times, as well as possible themes and awards. i.e. One suggestion is to have a "Dog Days of Summer Race" in August in which everyone is encouraged to have a dog on board for the race, with a beach party after the race. There will be prizes at the end of the series awarded at the end of the season beach party after the last race. Here is the schedule that we came up with based on tides and other local races.
